Start with the complete model number on the appliance label, usually inside the refrigerator or along the door frame. Include every letter, number and punctuation mark. Compare that number with the replacement filter’s compatibility information; a similar name or appearance does not confirm a fit. If you cannot confirm the match, ask for help before ordering.

Check your appliance manual and the instructions supplied with the replacement filter before starting. Confirm the model match and follow the specified removal, fitting, flushing and reset steps. Do not force a cartridge into place. Check for leaks as directed by the manufacturer and keep the instructions for your next replacement.
